Roger Deckker

Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Sydney Australia, Roger currently works with numerous clients around the globe.

New York is Roger's photographic spiritual home. It's gritty city streets and artistic heritage have provided an endless source of inspiration and influence on his work.

Roger's work consists of portraiture, movement studies and reportage moments with an almost cinematic feel. Sometimes straightforward sometimes abstract, its the fleeting glimpses or candid moments of beauty that are the foundation of Roger's images. Roger shoots in film and digital, occasionally applying both mediums to the same project.

Roger has collaborated with clients such as Lanvin, Gant Rugger, Bergdorf Goodman, Swarovski, Nike, Canon and MasterCard. Roger's fashion and portrait projects have been published in titles such as The Gentle Woman, Details, Self Service, W, Fantastic Man, German Vogue, L'Uomo Vogue, 032c, GQ and New York Magazine among others.
