Biography
Karen Zapp is a New York–based fashion stylist and creative consultant with over a decade of experience working across campaign, editorial, and e-commerce productions for luxury and contemporary fashion brands. Her work is defined by refined styling, modern tailoring, and a considered approach to visual storytelling, with a focus on creating images that feel elevated, intentional, and enduring, yet modern. Her background includes in-house experience at international fashion institutions such as YOOX Net-A-Porter Group and Club Monaco, where she contributed to the development of campaign imagery, editorial content, and elevated e-commerce visuals, helping to shape a sophisticated and cohesive visual language across menswear and womenswear productions. Working closely with creative directors, designers, and image-makers, Karen brings a collaborative sensibility and a nuanced understanding of brand identity. Informed by a lifelong engagement with art history, travel, and early exposure to fashion through her mother who introduced her to the craft and construction of clothing, Karen’s perspective is shaped by both craft and visual culture. Now based in New York City, she draws on the city’s cultural energy alongside her broader lived experience to create thoughtful campaign concepts and editorial imagery that balance precision with restraint.
