Born and raised in The Bronx, NYC, nail artist PIKA is a force to be reckoned with. Diving headfirst into the nail industry just over a year ago, he’s already blazed a trail for himself, working with luxury brands, celebrity clientele and ranking #9 on InStyle Magazine’s Top 16 2024 Met Gala Nail Looks. 

His background as a wardrobe assistant and marketing associate has shaped him with the tools needed to work with other creatives.

Drawing inspiration for his nail career from his grandmother, he goes on to say, “I would be so fascinated watching my grandmother paint her nails every Sunday evening with her signature red polish. She would let me remove the polish from her week old set, allowing me to dip and twist her finger in the Cutex nail polish remover bottle. No day is the same with nails. I get to work on a new creative project every single day. It’s so gratifying to know that something that I’ve created can make others feel good and/or bring a concept to life."
