PHOTOGRAPHER
Frances Tulk-Hart moved to New York from London 12 years ago to pursue a career in the fashion industry. She started out as a fashion stylist working for such magazine as American Vogue, British Vogue, i-D, Purple, L’Uomo Vogue, Teen Vogue, and WWD.
However, Frances possessed a certain curiousity with photography and began experimenting on the side. What began as an interest bloomed quickly into an obsession and today Frances wholly dedicates her day to the experience of photography. Her work is considered by many insiders to represent the best of the new guard of photographers who are now taking over the industry. There is no further proof needed than the recognition she has received already from the ultimate industry insider, Marc Jacobs, who enlists her services to capture the elements of his brand for advertising as well as that of his editorial presence for magazines such as Commons & Sense. Additionally, Frances has shot advertising for Tse Cashmere, Proctor & Gamble, Pour le Victoire and Intermix. Her editorial clientele is equally diverse with magazines such as InStyle, The New York Times, Japanese Vogue, British Vogue, Teen Vogue, Glamour, Metal, Commons and Sense, Figaro Japan, Vogue.com, Nowness and Contributing Editor.
Frances most heralded project is the launch of her cumulative study on the beauty of life which can be glimpsed through the eyes of her tumblr account:
