Olivier Lebrun

After years of experience as a studio hairstylist in the fashion industry, Olivier Lebrun has become a master at this difficult and highly competitive art. Olivier began styling and cutting hair in chic Parisian salon where he learned about the subtle ways in which to allow a woman to better express herself through hair.

Always fascinated by the world of fashion, Olivier met a freelance makeup artist who helped introduce him to the world of editorial and runway. Understanding that the salon world and the world of fashion are unique unto themselves, Olivier began spending all of his free time assisting some of the top Parisian editorial hairstylists. Olivier was a fast study who quickly picked up on the cutting edge techniques as well as the timeless tricks of the master hairstylists. This process was incredibly demanding, but taught him to understand the rules and techniques that spawned his genius level creativity. By learning the proper way to work within a team, Olivier mastered the crucial element of being a true part of fashion: the only important thing is the perfection of the final result.

Today Olivier can work paper tissue like hair or he can comb a simple pony tail and still feel the same satisfaction knowing that his role is to foster a look that both pushes an image forward while still complementing the goals of the client and team as a whole. However, one should make no mistake about his creative passions. When not being flown around the world for clients, Olivier creates everyday in his atelier in Paris, like a scientist in his laboratory, experimenting with new hairpieces. His hairstyling philosophy is that what he has executed in the past does not necessarily hold interest for future projects and so newer, more exciting concepts must always be a part of his repertoire.

Olivier splits time between New York and Paris.
