Yoichi Tomizawa

Hairstylist Yoichi Tomizawa hails originally from Tokyo, Japan but his passion for hairstyling has led him around the world. Trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Yoichi has worked and studied in such varied locales as Manchester, England, Toronto and Milan. He has also served as an instructor and opening member of the famed Toni & Guy salon in Milan. Unsatisfied with the salon world, Yoichi slowly transitioned into the realm of freelance hairstyling where his talent and technique caught the eye of his eventual mentor, master stylist Eugene Soulemain.

Yoichi's extensive training and undeniable skill have since won him his own following of the industry's best and brightest including Catherine Malandrino, Victor Demarchelier and Diego Uchitel to name a few. Yoichi's infectious personality, enthusiasm, passion and talent continue to impress the clients, photographers and colleagues lucky enough to have him on their team.

Yoichi is based in New York City.
